September: Things of Note

September: Things of Note

1. Public Domain Artwork

I recently discovered public domain artwork, and I could happily scroll for hours looking at all the beautiful pieces. Free for anyone to download, I've gotten a couple printed and hung in my home and can't believe how pretty they are! A Home Is Announced has a really fantastic edit of her favorites, and is a great place to start perusing.

2. Great Denim

Been wearing this pair nonstop!  So lightweight and soft, with a refreshing wide leg. This pair is super cute, too.

3. Sleek Sweaters

Simple, classic sweaters. The ones that look good with everything and you reach for time & time again. I am loving this shape paired with a fuller leg denim and killer boots. Aquarius Sweater, $68

4. A Delicious Bag

The details of this bag! It's so simple, yet impactful. The suede adds such a great texture and it's just a great compliment to any outfit. *Chef's Kiss*. Faux Suede Bag, $68

5. Mesh Flats

Can't call myself a fashion girlie if I don't mention these. Mesh shoes were on lots of runways including Khaite, Alaia and The Row. They absolutely blew up this summer! Check out this style on Etsy for a super cute option.

6. Statement Jewelry

While I still love dainty gold for everyday wear, I am craving something bolder for a night out or a special occasion. Chunky earrings will always be a favorite! Here's a statement pearl drop and a wonderfully updated gold hoop

7. A Fresh Scent

I wanted to change things up with the new season. Tru Candle's Olive Blossom ($30, in-store only) and this are both so so good and transition into fall beautifully.

happy end of summer!
